Day 1 – Bolaven Plateau, Tad Fane & Tad Yuang Waterfalls
We depart from Pakse and drive up to the beautiful Bolaven Plateau, passing through part of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Along the way we stop at a small village well known for its traditional handmade knives produced using local techniques. Our journey continues to the famous Tad Fane Waterfall, where we enjoy the spectacular view of the dramatic twin waterfalls plunging into a deep valley.

From the viewpoint we begin our trek through coffee plantations toward the top of the waterfall. Along the way your guide will explain the history and importance of Lao coffee cultivation on the Bolaven Plateau.
We enjoy a picnic lunch and swimming.
After lunch we continue trekking for approximately one hour to Tad Yuang Waterfall. We stop at the viewpoint to admire the scenery before our transport picks us up and drives us to Ban Nongluang village. In the evening we enjoy dinner with a local family at the homestay and participate in a traditional Baci Ceremony, a spiritual Lao welcoming ritual.

Day 2 – Trekking in Dong Hua Sao National Protected Area
After breakfast at the homestay, we drive approximately 15 minutes to the trekking starting point. From here we begin our adventure into the jungle ofDong Hua Sao National Protected Area, one of the most important biodiversity areas in southern Laos.
The trail leads through coffee plantations and tropical forest before descending deeper into the jungle. Along the way you may observe various herbs, wild orchids, and small waterfalls while enjoying beautiful natural scenery.
Our destination is the impressive Tad Ka Mued Waterfall, a hidden waterfall deep in the forest.
We stop here for lunch before trekking uphill back to the village. After the trek, we return to Pakse.
